03-04 Cobra Hood fitment?

Im looking at buying a 04 Cobra Hood from someone and I was wondering if it will fit right with my stock bumper for a while or will I have to buy the 03-04 bumper now instead of later.

I know people say the bumper wont fit perfect with out the hood so I didnt know if its the say way reversed.

It'll fit it'll just have a gap between the hood and bumper. It's not super bad, but it would bother me to no end personally.

People who've done this say you just remove whatever holds the bumper on in the center and make new holes back a little bit to bring the bumper up.

I have a '03 hood sitting in my shed waiting to be fixed.. I set it on just for kicks a while back and there's hardly any gap at all.. a half inch maybe.

It fits without any problems.
I had the stock GT hood before with saleen bumper (same height as GT bumper) and swapped the 03 cobra hood witout any issue...

That fix is for putting a Cobra Bumper on a GT, not a Cobra Hood on a GT

Anyway, here is my Cobra hood and GT bumper, I just bolted it on and went.

Now that's just like sex on wheels. I love the low profile look of the Cobra hood, opposed to the scoop protruding. Matches well with the Saleen wing.

Now that I see that hood that's got me thinking... That little gap might not be to big a deal...

I think that is the best looking hood, having the gap there would suck though.
