03/04 Cobra hood, other bumper, GAP?

I know theres going to be some sort of gap with my 03/04 Cobra hood and my Roush bumper...i need pics of how bad it is. Is it bad? Look stupid? Any way to fix it??

have the body dhop fill the gap before paint.

with what? like molding stuff?? like the stuff im getting the MUSTANG letters smoothed with?

I'm guessing it's some kind of molding?

I do know the 03 Cobra hood is actually shorter than the GTs. That's the reason for the gap when paired with a GT bumper.

The gap can be fixed. I just dont exactly know the solution for that. There are real Roush Cobras and Saleen Cobras and the gap are minimized on those cars.

you know where the 2 bumper mounts are by the grille delete? drill a hole .75"-1" higher up, and remount. ill post a pic when I get home, or search "cobra gap".

Ahhh Ray you're getting some bad info here. The fix posted above is a fix for having an 03 Cobra BUMPER and a GT HOOD. There is no current fix for the 03 Cobra hood and GT bumper.

Here is the gap:

You get over it real quick

I don't see why a body shop couldn't extednd the bumper to kill that gap, the gap just detroys the lines on the car.

can someone take a pic of it looking straight down on it? do they 2 pieces there stick OUT further than the hood at the top? or just too short? ahh, jeff at Volkers works miracles, what am i worried about? haha

No matter what you do, gap or not, it'll surely look better than your old combo

You probably won't even notice it....no sense getting all dramatic until you see it.

This thread came just in time for me as well. I was going to ask to see the stage 3 roush front bumper with the 03/04 cobra hood. The gap kind of depresses me, it does kill the lines, but it does seem like it could be "gotten over".
