im planning on trading this car in for a used 03 cobra.... have you guys had any problems with ur cobras? i have 85,000 miles on this car and i dont wanna trade it in and then when the warranty on the cobra is up i have to pay for a gang of problems? i just wanna make sure the car doesnt have majjor problems and that im gunna enjoy the car and not say man i should have kept my GT

Nope, none here. I have 28k miles on mine and only steering bushings replaced due to very hard road driving - hard lefts/rights with tons of breaking.... everything else is like new - even the clutch and breaks

Once you drive one - you will love the IRS - unless you are a true dragster type

thats tight...how much are your monthly payments? im looking to get an 03 cobra for about 500 a month ... maybe i can find one with like 20 - 30 thousand miles on it

I would be hesitant on buying a used, supercharged Cobra. You never know how the previous owner took care of it. I highly suggest you read the 03/04 Cobra FAQ located here: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33446

That will answer 99% of your questions.

I traded in my 97 cobra hardtop with 118k miles for a 03 new cobra convertible, I paid 29988 for the 03, brand new with 80 miles on it. And the dealer gave me my 6100 payoff on my 97. So I pay 500.50 per month for a very long time... start calling around to see what you can find, I know thier is another ford dealer here in TX that has a silver 03 convertible cobra on thier floor for about 32500, or something like that.

If you want you can email me and I will find the dealers name for you, but they said thier 03 was brand new also. When I looked about 8 months ago, I also found a used 03 hardtop with about 18k miles for 29k.

I just got a 03 with 3400 miles on it for 27,700. Payments are around 530 a month
