I know this has been addressed a lot, I just want to confirm the following before I begin. I have a Mach 460 6-CD unit in an 03 Cobra:

1. The rear and door woofers are powered by amps in the rear deck.

2. The tweets are powered by amps in the HU.

3. The Metra 70-5519 adapter WILL allow me to go plug & play as long as I send power to the tweets from the HU: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=265-790

This is all true, correct?

I know there was a stealth change in wiring between 03 and 04, and most of the folks here have posted using an 01 as reference, so I just want to be sure. I don't really want to yank all the wires out and redo the whole thing.

Thanks in advance.

I have an '01 and all of that information is correct for my setup. As far as I know, the '01-'03 is the same setup. If someone can confirm that, then you're good to go. I've also got all the part numbers and hyperlinks to the parts you need if you want them.

Thanks Mesc7, the last thing I need are the low/high pass filters. What did you use?

Actually, the head unit I bought had the crossovers built in and I just used those. If you don't want to use those, check out these:

I'd use bass blockers on your tweeters:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-dxe5sK...asp?s=0&cc=01&g=761&est=&search=bass+blockers

And for crossovers for your RCAs, go to www.partsexpress.com and search for "FMOD". Those should do what you need.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
