03 cobra leaking coolant through the resevoir cap???

My friend has an 03 cobra that overheated, we changed the t-stat and it doesent overheat now but it leaks coolant from the cap, after 3 new caps it still leaks from there, why?? We bled the system through the fitting by the supercharger once. should we do it again?? why would it do this??

if it aint the cap, then the car is spitting back water for another reason.

Try burping the system, alot of times stray air bubbles will wreak havoc.

If you can, do a compression test and make sure the head gaskets are ok. When that same situation happened to me, it was because i had a bad head gasket, and exhaust gaskets were leaking out into the coolant, causing it to overheat and boil out through the cap. I, too, overheated my car and then it would spit out coolant all the time.
