03 Cobra "tick"??

I have developed a ticking noise since installation of my idler pulley.

It is getting worse and freaking me out. It is coming from the front of the motor....sounds like a sprinkler and gets worse with rpm (as expected)

Any suggestions??? Idler bearing's going out??

Also, what is the 03 "tick" I hear about? Anything to worry about?

The '03 tick is something I'm very familiar with. I've had my drivers side head replaced twice now due to the tick! The tick comes from the 7 & 8 cylinder area on the drivers side head. Do a search in this forum for "Tick" and you read all about it.

That right there is enough to eliminate that(thank God!)

This is coming from the front of the motor....in the area of the pulley's.

I guess I will check them all for good rotation tomorrow and go from there.
