my car is an automatic with 44000 miles. I will hit the gas and all of a sudden i will hear this like clacking noise coming from underneath my car. I have no idea what it could be. any help would be appreciated.
need more info! more on what it sounds like. tap, click, loud, soft, does it get louder the more gas you give it or does the volume stay te same, does the clicking speed up as the rmp raises?
need some more info on those things. did this just start and the car was always fine for the 44, 000 miles before this?
ok, when my car is in overdrive and it is in first before it changes to second, i will hit the gas and sometimes I hear a clacking noise that is pretty loud. or when I go up a hill and i just press the gas, it will make that noise. no, it's done it for awhile now.
mines an auto, but when it is in first sometimes when i hit the gas i will hear a loud clacking noise under my car. it kinda sounds like metal on metal, but i really have no idea. and then when my car shifts, into second it will stop making the noise. it has done it for awhile.
