So today I replaced the clutch and flywheel in my 03 GT. Reason being the clutch was slipping. Well everything went smoothly, but when I went to drive it, it still has a stutter under acceleration. Could this be a issue with the clutch or a fuel related issue or maybe the spark? TIA!

Just wondering. Did you disconnect the battery during the work? If so, how much time and driving has been done since the battery was re-connected?

After a battery disconnect there needs to be some time for the PCM to re-learn new fuel trim values. It would be expected to have some period of poor performance after a battery disconnect.

I did, it stayed unhooked for about 12 hours? But it’s almost like it’s misfiring at idle too though which is what’s confusing me. I’ll take a look at the link though to see if it may help me any.

My alternator is brand new and the battery holds charge fine. Would it be worth it to go and have them tested?
