It's funny how you react to things in life. I drive a 91 bad ass stang. Last week it stalled out on me.So I had to get it towed home. The next day it started but had the worse Idle in the world with a back fire every other once in a while. I spent 4 days trying to figure it out. I finally got fed up and got me a 04 cobra comp orange. I'll tell you what. I am freaking amazed in this car. It is extreamly smooth and it has one hell of a pick up. I'm beside myself with happiness. I think I just betrayed my first stang, but you know what, thats what it gets for leaving me out to dry like that. I will be doing some serious thinking to see if I keep it or not. This car is stock at the moment but I am starting my homework to see whats good. Any suggestions welcomed. If I knew how to post a picture I would.

I jsut bought my 04 Comp Orange 1 week ago today. Nice choice, love the color.

I also traded in my first stang an 01 Cobra.

Mine is in the garage and still needs more driving before I get on her but that will come.

My initial thoughts for things:

315 nitto 555R
Borla Stinger Catback (although I may still get the SLP Loudmouth off my 01)
X-pipe with cats of some kind
pro 5.0
long tube headers

But like you I plan to enjoy it as is for now, debating on if I even want to get my SLP exhaust off the other one before the dealer sells it.

How rare is the comp orange? I was thinking about buying an 04 recently and I really like the black, but there is a comp orange neer me also. I don't know if the color will be too much for me, but I think it is a pretty rare color which is cool for me.

there were only 291 comp orange hard top made. the color is awsome in the sun light and especially in floresent lights at gas stations. here are the details.

Yeah, comp orange is the rarest color for the 04s. Definitely gets a lot of attention.

I thought total production was only suppose to be 1,000. Thats what the brochure says. Oh well.

I vote for black, because that is what I have. Also never been a fan of the orange, but it is bright. Wanted the mystichrome, but wife didn't want to spend anther $6000 for that one. Plus I refused to pay twice as much as the option is listed for.

I was real close to getting the comp orange but went with Redfire. You will definately get some looks in that thing. I think you really have to be a fan of orange to like it, it's a hot color don't get me wrong, but the more I thought about it I didn't think I could have an orange car. I feel that way about yellow also. I had a chance to get a leftover 03' for $29900 but I just could not do yellow. Maybe I'm nuts.

rarest also can be looked upon as least popular. The main problem with CO, is that it is also a V6 and GT color....

I had a 99 hugger orange Z-28 so the choice was a no brainer for me!
