I can say the 3v's in the new f150's do not feel as stong as I though they would. you go get in a f-150 and then get in a dodge hemi and it is night and day. the chevy's 5.3 felt more powerful than the 5.4 3v to me. granted this is in trucks but power is power.

I don't think this is the year to buy the new bodystyle. They are a little plain. the 3v engine may take some tweeks before it is at it full potential I really like the mach. to me it is a no brainer. I think the 05 platform has potential I just think the first year of production allways looks a bit plain.

I agree with what a few other guys said about the 03/04 cobra. That's an amazing vehicle, and for the price of an 04 Mach 1 or 05 GT, you could get an 03 Cobra with reasonably low miles. Go with the Cobra

Love the 05 look; but the 4v & 355's in the mach make for a good start.
We already know all the little things about the mach and how to make it better. I've tryin' to get my wife on board and trade in my 01gt for a mach 1.

So I vote mach1. Price will go down when closer to 05's release.

But love what ford has on the horizon in the 05gt also.

You can get a brand new mach for $24000 a low mile 03/04 cobra would still be higher than that... I say go mach...

I wouldnt buy any stang until the 05 comes out. You will see even greater price drops in the mach's and 03/04 cobras. You should be able to get a 03/04 cobra for less than the sticker of a 05 stang. You will have a completely forged short block and with a few hundred dollars in mods have an 11 second daily driver.

Well see if you can get deal's on the 05's like these:

http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/i...sedcars.com&car_id=162574364&dealer_id=106069

Price drops? Better start getting what you want unless you want a Mach Auto they are getting very thin and the plant is now closed and the last of the Mustangs are complete now. They predict that by July they may all be gone if they are as hot as they've been the last month.

BTW the Red auto is gone, I just brought it for my GF
