My theft light blinks so fast it might have a heart attack. The car starts and runs fine. Any thoughts?

Just wondering. Has PATS been disabled via tune on your PCM? If so, that might explain why the theft light says there's a problem but the car starts anyway.

No the PATS is still working. I discovered a tracking device that was not completely disabled hooked to the instrument cluster. I assume it was tied to the PATS and has maybe caused some other problems.. Thank you for your input.

Do you have an ODB2 scanner? Even better an advanced ODB2 scanner that is capable of talking to the "other" modules in the car's system?

Here's some information on a tool that might might short work of your problem.

ForScan ODB2 scanner w ELM327 USB

Regardless it would help to end the guess work to start with the DTC codes.
