Theft light always on steady light?

Is it normal for the theft light to always be on...even with the car off and key out it always stays on?

I do have a code reader yes

I have the same issue. Light is on 247 but still starts and runs fine. However, it is draining my battery. Also, it used to just blink 247 and run fine. Now it is a solid on 247.
