04GT vs. 05 S2000

drivers race IMO. if you can drive you should have him bagged. if you fubar the launch you take away the only advantage you have against him, once he gets moving hes better at a roll, his powerband is all up top and he has a 6spd which means hell be in that powerband the entire time past 20mph. if he can launch better than you, then you might also be screwed.

I'm curious as to how a 6spd will help any in a race that will only last 15 or so seconds?

last night an s2k with exhaust and intake was there and this was an 1/8th mile track. temp was 78 degrees DA of 1800ft he was running anywhere from 9.8s at 73 to the low 10s at the same speed needless to say that thing was slow. his 60's were in the 2.1 range so that just shows ya there low end torque is some trash.

exactly what I've seen at our local tracks. stock one will prolly be low 10's.

you'll have an easy time spanking the s2000...

hahaha dont jinx it... you should spank him though. I got pretty much the same prob to. My bro has an 04 s2lk stock and he thinks he cant take my gt with lm1's xpipe cai tb and 3.73's also shocks spring and driveshaft. I just told him good luck lets hit the track haha and he still hasnt.

You should go out in the country or somewhere safe and practice
a balls to the wall, all out, full bore Launch.
Sadly I learned this the hard way by underestimating one of those little
hyperactive mosquitos. He out launched me, and held on to a 1 car lenghth lead.
We dont want any more Stangs to fall to the evil Honda empire.

There was a guy that was at my brother's house one night that said his S2000 eats new GT's all the time. I said, "Lets go line them up then badass." He didn't say anything for the rest of the night. If he talks **** again he will get a taste of the 90, which he will not like.

Yeah make sure you get a good launch and don't miss 3rd. It's very possible that he can take a lightly modded gt if the driver of the gt messes up in just about any way(provided he knows how to drive his car). I would go practice too

I got a little surprise for him if he thinks he gonna get me at the launch, my buddy just gave me the ok to borrow his MT's streets with those I know i'll eat him up out of the hole so he's gonna get I refuse to fall to the honda empire! and if worse comes to worse and he does somehow manage to get infront of me I'll just do a PIT manuver on him
