05-06 rear into a 96

I have a 96 gt and I need to get some work done on the rear end, the bearings are bad I believe. I found a rear end out of a 05/06 mustang that is a 8.8 and am curious if this can be a direct bolt in or if it will be more trouble then just replacing the bad stuff?

It will not work..The rear mounts are differnt for the uca's..And they are just set up differnt..I would try to find one out of a 95-98 mustang..Reamber 99-04 is tad longer..

theres an ugly ass 05+ body kit for 99-04s I'm sure you could modify that... but IMO go with an 03/04 cobra bumper or something. Leave the 05+ styling on them.

Josmen, the master bearing kit + gears isn't that expensive, maybe you should just look into that?
