I have a 05 mustang gt with a blown engine, there’s a engine and tranny out of a 07 gt with 50k miles, if I buy that engine is it a simple drop in replacement? Or is there something I would need to modify?

You can drop the 07 engine straight in. The only difference is in the coolant crossover at the front of the intake manifold so if it's on the engine, just swap yours in its place.
