05 GT Manual, loosing syncros 2sd-3rd ???

My 05 GT with manual tranny is loosing the ability to upshift from 2sd-3rd grear. It just doesn't want to go into gear sometimes. Not doing any speed shifting or racing, just normal street driving. Anyone else with this?

I have never had a problem but I switch to Amsoil in all my fluids, because of the history of the 3650. I only have 3200 miles on my car. Good luck.

The tranny may have a problem. Have the dealer check it out.

Mine occasionally grinds, 1-2 and sometimes won't go into 3rd. Was told by the dealer that it was normal.

Tranny gear grinding and not going into gear with the clutch pedal fully depressed is definitely not normal. Get it checked.

I just turned over 12,000 miles on mine today. No problems other than every once in a while it isn't smooth going 1 - 2, but most of the time it is. Just depends on how I shift.

If I go too slow, it "catches" and isn't smooth, if I go fast it's like butter.

Not normal. Look at the 3650 thread. I did this battle with my '02 GT. Finally got it fixed under the long awaited TSB.

I wouldn't worry about a problem that has not happened yet. And, the previous problem was usually more of a 1-2 problem rather than the 2-3 problem originally posted in this thread.

In previous cars I have had the Tremec has always been kind of notchy and terrible to downshift. It may just be the way the trans is, of course I really dont know, my 05 is an auto.

sounds like your tranny is acting up. 3rd gears problems are usually indicitive of a tranny problem. It is still under warranty so take it to the dealer and let them deal with it. I only have 3000 miles on mine and no probs. good luck. P.S. Ask the dealer what the most common warranty servicing issues are- that will tell you a lot too.
