The TR-3650 is more solid than people give it credit for. The T-45 is a house of cards, IMO.

+1 with the synchros fixed and all the new ones are fine now the TR-3650 is a nice tranny..

The T-45 is ok too.. both are a huge improvement over the T-5's that were in the earlier cars.

Stock '05+ seem to be just a few ticks behind a stock Mach. In this case I think the '05 would take you, the new autos and suspension seem to help them launch really well. But only one way to find out, take it to the track and let us know what happens.

Shoot....I just bought the darn thing! Nice SUV though. I just need to make more money so I can afford 3 car payments and this boat payment!

Ok, I'll just say what everyone on here is thinking. 05+ stangs are awesome, i'm just jealous I bought mine before I knew they were being released....so I'll just take my anger out on the new model

I think they are sweet and growing on me some but actually when I saw them I just knew I had to get a Mach 1 before the new ones came out. But maybe that's just me.

05 will win. Ive raced a 5 speed with a decent driver b4 with my 02 auto gt before i got my procharger and mine had bolt ons, 3.73 gears, hypertech programmer, and he beat me by about 2 1/2 car lenghts in a 1/4 mile. Im pretty sure he'l take u

Dude, I sure hope that the car u raced wasnt stock cause there is NO WAY u should lose to a stock 5 speed 05 gt. If you ran with everything in our sig minus prchgr, you should still win...

****.....Bolt ons is where it is at! Just need the right combo to make your car a beast! I ran 2 05 GT's at Mustang week (DARLINGTON Dragway) and they both had gears and nitrous! I beat the 1 with a 75 shot, dr's, and catback with 373's and the other had full exhust with a similar set up and pulled me with 100 shot! They don't launch that well because of the weight! Take about 300-400 lbs off of it and it should be quite nice!

The 05 autos put down around 255RWHP...04 autos put down <220 usualy.

The 04 would need around the same RWHP (no stall) to beat the 05. Thats a full bolton car really.
