05 mustang mush

my dad is parts manager for ford and he got to drive a new 05 gt black 5-speed loaded (i think it was his bosses car) and he went out and ran it to the limiter and pushed it as hard it would go WITH his boss in the car :nonono: lol kinda dissappointed in the performance of the car though

well lets see... 3 people in the car... of course its not gonna feel like anything special.. drive it yourself.. and also its on a new chassis.. which is much stiffer...so of course youre not gonna feel all the torque... my 03GT feels faster than my friends LS1... but its not

lol sure as heck it will be lol and don worry it wont be to much rustier the pic of my car is a year old lol its still in the making is been stripped aint worth puttin 600hp in a car with 600lbs of rust

I'll bet your hotrod is pretty nice, but I'd still rather have an 05 mustang. The nice ride, cool stereo system, new interior, all factory-made top to bottom. Everything is better than 'blueprinted' on the new stangs. I think it would be nice sometimes to go out and find an old car and fix it up, all the things that would need to be fixed up and I'd be left with what; a car that may be faster than a stock 05 mustang, but inferior in perhaps almost every other way? No offense, but I'd rather spend the 30 grand up front for something all there. :)

well for some people its more the ride there than the final product...I know plenty of people that restore/build up old cars, then sell them for 2/3 what they put into it, just because they enjoy fixing them up so much.

IMO for me its about building a car by myself, making sure its perfect to my standards and has what I want in it. That being said, I'd love an 05 Mustang :)

yeah my car is me and my dads project together. BUT my car isn't going to be like a regular old mustang with a big bad motor in it because im doing it all out and maybe trying to adapt a 5.8 system on it but hey i will have alarm and allll the same stuff like tilt, rack and pinion, maybe irs, factory ac, highback seats,.. u get the picture? my dad had a all original 69 boss 302 loaded factory car that was niccceee.. so comfortable which inspired my mustang so i guess its a matter of opinion to wether you like late models or muscle cars but personally it doesnt matter as far as what year its from just as long as its got alot of HP :nice:
