I was wondering if the front brakes, calipers and rotors would fit on a fox with the 95 to 96 spindles. You can get the rotors, calipers and dust shields from new take off for under $200 bucks.

Not a bolt on fit. It requires mods to the spindle and is not worth it IMO. MM&FF put GT500 brakes on their Fox 500 projuct, and they had to weld & drill and work on it to mount the brakes up. If you don't want Cobras, just get some 99-04 calipers.

That is what I thought. I was just liking those prices though. Is there anywhere you can buy the PBR brakes new or even old takeoffs? I am trying to do a budget 5-lug and brake conversion.

I got mine years ago for under $200 from Diversified Marketing, I think they are the same as New Take Off.

Best bet is look at local yards on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for some. If no place local has them, many of the yards will ship. I got a complete setup from a 2000 model, spindles, rotors, calipers for about $180 several years ago. Calipers run about $30-40 each and just get new rotors.

Ok cool...thx for the help. I will prob end up going that direction. You didn't use the 2000 spindle's though correct?

No, I grabbed them for someone else. They didn't care about the differences between the 94-95 and the later ones. I have 95 spindles. It was a good deal for everything, lines included, as 94-95 spindles many ties run about $150 a pair by themselves

96+ spindles are superior anyway. With all the popular mustang wheels being made in S197 offsets, i bet more and more people will begin to use them.

I have 94-95's but if i get a good deal on some 96+ i will swap to them when i do my front suspension over again
