while at the dealership yesterday getting my door panels replaced,
I was checking out the new car lot inventory... they had about 15 07 GT's.
Most of them were non impressive..... but they had a vert and coupe that
stood out from from the rest......at least they were slightly different from
the clone like group. what I could notice that was different ........was they
had 18" chrome bullit wheels but, with puny 235 tires, a racing stripe on the
rocker panels that says GT-CS and I guess that stands for California Special
not sure about that. ok they also had a tiny fake looking hood scope and
side scoops, and the interiors were 2 tone leather. sticker price on the vert
was $35 k and the other 1 was $ 32 k. I didnt notice if the engines were
anything special.

yeah....My buddy just bought one but he went and had a Shaker System put on, window louvers and some Deep dish Chrome Bullits.....NICE!!!!

Whats crazy is, is that there starting to price these vehicles pretty high......Ive seen a couple hit the 39k mark, for a vert

The cali special is a remake of the 1968 California special.

The hood scoop is optional as some come without it.

It's mainly a front chin spoiler, the 18" wheels, side scoops, a rear diffuser bumper, a CAI setup, and a bunch of interior options.

Guy on another board juist bought one for $25.5K.

That's cheap. I saw one at a dealership here for $34K, which included a $3K dealer mark-up.
