07 gt rims on a 68?

hey everyone i have a question, will a set of 07 gt rims fit on a stock 68 mustang , v8 with drum brakes? any mods needed? any info would be cool. thanks stangnet.

You would have to get lug adapters as the backspacing is way the hell off. Also, you can likely find imitation rims in the aftermarket that will look like them with the same backspacng.

Are you talking about the 17" rims or the 18" rims. 17's CAN be done, 18's are going to be hard without body mods.

i am talking about the 17's that kinda look like cragar rims. product info on the adapters? part #? website? price? maybe some pics of a stang with these on them? the reason i am asking is i know someone that has a set and they would sell them to me pretty cheap.

You can find them virtually any vintage mustang site. Pretty sure mustang depot has them. As far as pics, you'r eon your own.

thank you very much, sux i cant seem to find any pics of a 68 with 07 rims sedan style.

Your referring to the Bullitt rims. I have them on my car with the proper BS. You can find them on eBay. There is no reason, other than slight differences in looks, to only run the 07's. Just type in "mustang wheels" and you'll be able to find the correct ones for your car. Mine are chrome and I got them delivered w/tires for about $1100.
