Which size is better for my application? My exhaust valves are 1.550" I may add a supercharger in a couple years. Currently running 300 rwhp. I'd appreciate any guiddance or links to relevant test data. Thank you.

Which brand headers are you looking at? The BBKs fit pretty good. You shouldn't have any trouble with pan clearance unless the DSS pan is different than most. A lakewood scattershield would need some grinding near the starter, but other than that they fit pretty good.

I should be ok then. I'm planning on getting the ceramic coated BBKs. The DSS pan is a modified stock pan w/ a wider bottom portion of the reservoir. The MAC LTs I have now don't have a lot of clearance to the pan and required some reshaping near the starter. My main complaints w/ the MACs though is frying my clutch cable and loud resonance from the pro chamber x-pipe when cruising.

ok, i can tell you this.....

when you get them, get a 1 3/4 and a 3" collector. the collector is where most of the restiction is like on the BBKs (which fit really well!) and the MACs and Hookers have 3" collector that flows alot more!

BBK's have a 3" collector. They are about 7" long. The aforementioned ones are around 10" long.

You're right. I forgot about the future blower.

Wrong, they are 3.00".

The ball and socket joing area goes down to 2.37" for seal, but the collector is 3.00".
