The times arent bad... A rebuilt trac loc should help a bunch. Get those 60's into the 1.9s and you should go low low 13s if not squeak out a 12.99.

1.9's ? I was think at "least" 1.8, maybe a 1.7. A 1.8 will have you in the 12's.
Nice times!

I have gone to Milan before..

Consistent times though. Get that 60ft time down and your golden. If you smoked your diff, that's why you weren't cutting good 60 footers.

I smoked my diff at Milan too in 2004!!! Got it all rebuilt that next week. My 60ft times that night started at 1.88, 1.8, 1.9, 1.9.....then boom....2.2, 2.3, 2.1 etc... Guy told me my right rear tire was standing still.

1.9 60', and 107 mph traps in a full weight, street tired fox "could" go 12s...

Ask me how I know this?

Also 1.7 60' and those trap speeds "could" go mid to low 12s... again, ask me ask me.

I dunno....with the mods in your sig i think you should be deep in the 12s. I was running those times with a 2.0 60' with a stock '85 long block on BFG DR's. I know i've probably got you by a few hundred pounds, but i think if you dip down to at least 1.9 60 you should run 12.8 or better. You're running the same MPH i ran at 12.8 with a 1.9 60'.

i was hoping for a 12.99 pass, but as the night got longer my times got worse. the first pass i had just under half tank gas and 18psi in tires. buy the end of the night the tire pressures were at 10 psi and almost an empty tank. i had a air compressor and 5 gal of gas in the bed of my truck, but i didnt do anything with it. i got to figure something out how to get my 60' times down. i know with drag springs and shocks i can get there, but i like my car lowered. i was thinking of getting 15" rims with mt et streets, for the wrinkle wall effect. any other suggestions? i might be able to squeze a nother milan trip this year.

Trac loc rebuild and driving...

It can go in the 1.9s so long as your willing to practice.

An easy fix would be tires, but your still going to have to rebuild the t-loc

I didn't have the cash for a new rebuild for my T-lok, so i got another stock diff and took the clutches out and did the "clutch/metal/clutch/metal" mod, and even with wore out clutches it locks like a mofo now. Just a thought..

Launching in 2nd will totally rule out the 3.73 gears you have so you may as well get 3.08s if that's your goal...know what i mean?

You just need practice....don't sweat it. Also to your defense, i have tons of experience but launching on drag radials takes skill...i haven't mastered it myself or i'd be a lot faster than i am. I'm gettin full blown slicks 'cause i'm lazy

i will perfect the launch on dr's...i dont want to buy slicks cause ill have to race with a different group of cars, and i dont want to do that. i like racing with street cars..ill change to a different type of dr's. ill start with the t-lock and go from there. ill havt to perfect something cause in the near future boost is in the works

A 1.8 60ft will get him a 12.9,,,,,,, 1.8 will net him a 12.7

But please, do share your thoughts.

Well my thoughts are one thing, but I rely on the fact that with 1.9 60's and 106 mph traps my car has been 12.9s more than once. 1.7s and 106 mph traps and my car went 12.6s, and when I clipped 1.6 60's the turd went 12.5s.

Granted with a 1 wheel peel and 2.0-2.2 60's I was stuck going 13.2s @ 109 last time out.

I'm just giving him an idea of what he "could" run if everything on the run works out right.

MyHoFoSho---------you will never get that 347 in, u might as well just sell it to me so i can put it to use......$6k worth of motor and ill still kick your ass with a $600 motor cause u wont get traction...lol...no but seriously.....
