1.7 multiplier

Can anybody tell be what the 1.7 rocker multiplier is. I'm rebuilding my motor on the 85 ans was considering keeping the stock cam. The rebuild is a DSS 306 rotating assembly with powerheads. Just curious what the cam values would be with 1.7 rockers, before I make a final decision on a cam.

Stock cam is supposed to have 0.444" lift with 1.6 rockers so:

0.444/1.6 = 0.2775" lobe

0.2775 * 1.7 = 0.472"

actually, 83 on non HOs : intake.375
exhaust.390
83-85 HOs: intake .413
exhaust .442

these are stock numers with zero lash

thanks fellows for the formula. I have the cam specs in one of my books. The motor is a 85 HO roller. At least now I can make a comparison.

That may be the CFI cammed specs, but not the roller 85 cam. .444/.444 lift, 266/266 duration.
