I got a set a 1.7 roller rockers from another mustang. I was going to put them in my car but I still have the stock cam and heads will this work or are they to big?

They will work and raise your stock cam up to about 472/472 Lift.
You might think about upgrading your springs for sure, and mabye even retainers,etc...
Another thing you have to worry about is fitting them under the stock valve covers. If your stock valve covers are the 91-1/2-93 Style ones with no ribs you should be ok. Or you can grind the ribs off of your other ones, you might have a problem with th the oil baffle too. You can either buy after market ones, Or also get thicker Valve cover Gaksets.
Thanks for your help I guess Ill get some stronger springs before I put them on. What could happen if you don't upgrade the springs Im going to upgrade mine but I know alot of people don't?
that is the same set up I am going to put in my stang this week!! If you dont uprgrade springs they will fail/float and you will get less power than stock!!
