I just took a peek at the flywheel i had sitting for my AOD-to-T5 conversion and just noticed the part number on it was an E1xx- part number. That's a 1981 part number isn't it?

When did ford switch to the 10.5" flywheel? '86?

That means i need a completely different flywheel???

the 10 and 10.5 isnt the flywheel size but the size clutch disk it takes. no need to change unless your going to a 10.5 clutch

I am using a 10.5" FMS King Cobra clutch

Ok, took another look and found two part numbers on the flywheel

The large more pronounced one is RF-E1ZR-6380-A2A

But off on the side is a E6ZR-xxxx-AA part number

So i assume i do have an 86-later flywheel and can use it with a 10.5" clutch?

i dont think it has the holes drilled into it a 10.5 flywheel from fms is $100
