I think S197 is as fugry as my very first GF IMO. I also think Shelby GT 500 is not utilizing all of its power, as C6 Vette with 100hp less can show its tail light(per C&D July 06 issue), and with all the cosmetic enhancement, its still fugry as all hell.

IMO, GT500 is WAY over hyped, and failed to deliver whats it has promissed all along.
No thank you. I'll take my $40000+ MSRP, and what ever dealer mark up on them these days(guess about $20000+ nowdays?), and get me a low milege 04 Cobra, strap KB on top of it, and get me nice ford Fusion, and use it to drive myself to bank to deposit let over money

Its a decent car, but that vette would probably smoke it though. Never thought Id see the day where a mustang would weigh in at 4K lbs. 500 hpwr/4K lbs is nothing to be proud of from ford, but get it down to 34-3600lbs and it would be pretty good. The mustang is dam_ near as heavy as a crown vic.

I saw an orange one at the car show yesterday. I'm sure the pics will show up from someone. I didn't have my camera.

On the way I was following a father and son in a Ford GT and an 06 Saleen Clone playing. I was in a rental PT Cruiser and blasted both of them.

I saw one at Mustang Week. He was parked in the crowd at the first show and I didnt really notice it untill he left. He rolled by me a blipped the gas, and wow did it sound good.

The real kicker is when he had to merge onto the highway...

Blower screaming, 5.4 screaming through the pipes...

That thing moved out.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to hear this one start up. They started walking to their car as soon as I got into mine. If I was in the Mustang I would have stuck around, but we were in my dad's Prius.
