The odds of a 11r head having ptv issues on a stock piston are pretty slim. It’s always a good idea to check, but you should be fine with an e cam.
Bigger cams than that have been done with stock bottom ends and 11r combos
Sounds good. Did you use the 7.050 length pushrods I see trickflow has in their 11r too end kit?You will be fine. I have stock bottoms end in my 91, I have an old F cam, and installer TF 11r190s with TF 1.6s and push rods and clearance was fine.
Very true. I called trickflow and was told I will have plenty of clearance. Going to get a custom cam by fall but wanted to use what was already in the engine for now.Playdoh is 50 cents/can at Walmart.

What kind of cam did you have?Trickflow told me 7.05” for the 11r heads. That’s what I used a couple months ago on my 11r 190s.
