It was not a request.

There are rules in this forum and they need to be followed. You as a "founding Member" should be well aware of these rules. I as a moderator must enforce said rules.

So as I said before....

Easy there fella.

EDIT: FYI, I did read those threads, that is why most of them were deleted.

Tylers65...You are right. I should have commented differently. But with the same enthusiasm perhaps. This is why. I know Pete(Espeut Performance), the owner and driver of the '05. I know Doug(Lopey)the starter of the last thread who is also Petes brother-in-law. For the kicker...I was on the phone with Paul Mileski(Mileski Racing), when the runs were made! These are all stand up guys who know their stuff and can race. I found it hard to bite my lip as all the bashing was going on. Tom.

Has this car been flashed? Power, torque and peak a/f are in line with the values people have been reporting from tuned cars, not the 270/290/~11.0 we've been seeing from stock cars.

As has been reported previously, short of the weight removal (jack/spare, back seat, A/C) the car was completely stock. The original thread where all the flames were have probably been deleted.

A/C removed makes a noticeble difference over A/C turned off?
I guess maybe there's still the pulley causing extra belt friction?

The difference is probably as much in weight removal as causing less drag, maybe more. The A/C system probably weighs in the area of 50 lbs, all on the front end.

why doesnt 1 of the thousands of new GT's out there go run their car BONE STOCK... no weight removal.... and then report a 13.2 .... the reason everyone is all pissy is because this car is not stock... im sorry but any car with the A/C removed, back seats, spare/jack is NOT STOCK... someone please run their car wih a full interior already geezus... no one wants to hear that a car run a fast time with all this stuff removed thats just garbage... either you are STOCK or you are not... simple as that

Donno which rock you've been hiding under, but many have. The best I've heard of is 13.35 with no mods. I can't verify that any run that quick because I've never seen it, but many are definitely 13.6 capable.

I agree that removing items or replacing them with anything resembling better performance denotes "not-stock" right that moment, but many people say "stock" meaning no engine mods, no bolt-ons, etc. This has been going on for years, decades even.

teh TIMESLIPS are under a rock.... not I sir...i have yet to see any proof of anyone running a 13.2... anyways all im saying is that people want to see BONE STOCK numbers not a few mods here or a few things removed there... i believe they run somewhere in the mid to maybe even low 13's but without proof it means nothing to anyone

I guess you didn't read what he wrote. Let me clarify it for you: Bryanzstang ran a verified 13.35, with timeslips and witnesses. That is fastest "bone stock" time that we have seen so far.

Yeah Bryan posted a slip and all just the other day. He went from a 14.0x something to a 13.35. It's all been posted.
