well I splurged on the mustang and installed a set of 14" Alcon/Roush brakes with Baer Eradispeed rotors, I also added some 03 cobra control arms that have been in the garage for 3 years :shrug, the control arms made a HUGE difference in the way the car drives now so I cant believe I didnt do it earlier :), as for the brakes... WOW is all I can say!!!!!!!!!!, these things were a world better than the Cobra brakes and I thought thoese were good with hawk pads, these Alcons are MONSTERS best brakes I have EVER felt.

Whats the difference between the two??:flag: My car sat higher than before though even after pre-loading the suspension prior to final torque!

those are sweet!! how much did that kit run you? id definitely have to find a set of beater 18s to run during the winter, cuz i take it those would never clear 17s AT all

Yeah they will never clear 17's and most 18's, they were 900.00 for the whole kit with new SS lines and the baer rotors! sweet deal from stage 3 motorsports but replacement rotor rings are like 500.00 :( oh well, as long as they stop on a dime and look like SEX!!!!:hail2:

No, you have to put on a bracket on the hub and then shim the calipers to cencer the rotor, the calipers dont move, they are solid on the spindle so you have to not let the rotor drag.

So is that like my Aerospace brakes, where you have to punch out the rivets to the dustsheild, and then drill and tap the holes for the bracket, and then cut off the original mounting ears?

Should've grabbed some Steeda X2 balljoints while you were at it. It will drop it back down and then some (but also come with spacers to raise if needed); correct your rollcenter and allow softer spring rates.

Love the difference in mine now with the 98 arms and steeda x2s with the CE bumpsteer kit. For a mustang it actually handles pretty decent :)
