I want to drop from the 17" rims to 15 by 10" on the back and 15 X7or 8" on the front. Anybody done this? Any trouble with space for the calipers? I'm thinking it won't be a problem but you never know. Speedo is off anyway so I can always adjust the gears later.
Thanks Wystang, I was thinking the outlaw II aluminums or the pro stock centerlines. I looked at the attachment, there was some meat under the rear of that stang. I like the way it looked.
when i switched to 15's the ride was nicer and there was more traction with much cheaper tires. (comparing my 315/35/17's to my eagle gt II's... cant remember the size but they are smaller)
Here's a quick pic of mine with 15x10's w/ 6.5" back spacing on back with 4" up front and i grinded the bar off the caliper and run a 5/16 in spacer if I remember correctly. JR if you read this I remember telling you this, if you remember the size of spacer let us know what I told you back then.
I dont think I HAD to run the extended lugs but for safety measures I did with the 31spline axles and 31 spline carrier.
