15x12 w/7.5 BS Prostars on 01 GT

does anyone run a 15x12" weld rim...will these fit with the Quad shocks still on...any input is appreciated...THX

No offense, but why do you need that much tire? A 12'' rim is WAY overkill for the power you're putting out. There are quite a few modular mustangs in the 9s on a 10in slick. Again, no flame intended, just wondering why you want so much tire, it'll only slow you down.

what in the hell would you want that much tire for ? i dont see you makeing 4 digit HP numbers

Maybe he already has the rims? Or, they're free from a buddy? I'd try to make them work...or trade them for some 9-10"Welds.

i dont plan to run a big tire just a big rim...the 15x12" rim is not much heavier than the 15x10 and it is still lighter than a stock rim...I wouldnt run a bigger tire than 26x11.5 ET Streets ..right now I picked up some 295/50 D15's Quick Times from Hoosier that is a 10" tire...I just love the streched on look that u get with the 12" rim... I had 15x10's with a 6.5" BS and there was still room ...

besiedes some guys r runnin 18x11" rims that is probably twice the weight of a 15x12 Prostar..
