17" tire help

How well do 255/40/17 tires fit under a fox body?.. Pics would be helpful too

perfect. i run 245/45 17's. aint got no pics on my lap top though

Well Im running 255/40/17's in the rear and 235/45/17's in the front.

When I turn the wheel to full lock the tire rubs on the inner fender liner and slightly on the inside of the outer fender.
But Im running 96+ spindles which have a wider track.

The rear is perfect and even with a 1/2" spacer there is room for more tire.

it might help to be a little more specific on what you plan on running with.... front /rear, lowered/stock etc, but i'm running 245/45/17's on the front, 275/40/17's in the rear. on one side, the rear rubbed on the quad shock, so i had to cut the dust shield off of one, and one side BARELY scrapes the inside of my wheel well under hard cornering in the rear.....
