I plan on running 235/45/17 up front, and 255/45/17 in the rear. In 1990 the rear tire well was increased due to the pony tires.

Actually, the wheel wells werent opend up osme until 1991. That was the 1st year ponies came out. And it's both wheels wells not just the back. I run 245/45/17's on 17" ponies from ponyr.com. Soon I am going to run 255/40/17.

I run 17x9 Cobra Rs with 235/45/17 up front, I had to put another spacer on each side of the rack to prevent rubbing on tight turns. On the back I ran 255/40/17 with the stock suspension and had very light rubbing on the quads. I now have MM rear LCAs and FMS HD UCA, lost the quads and run 275/40/17 drag radials with no rubbing issues.

where at? im moving to lacey in a week

sweet lacey i live in lacey haha. cool deal Where you coming from?

The wheel would be a 17x9. I was pretty much planing on running 245/45/17 but just wondering what everone else is running.

Currently I have moroso trick drag springs (front, rear) lakewood 70/30 struts, granatelli weight jacker lca, steeda double adjustable uca's.

I have kinda gotten out of the drag race seen and looking into turning a little better so i plan to get the eibach pro system plus kit. Just planing things out right now and saving up some money.

Check out my picts. I have a 85gt with 17x8 F and 17x9 R with 255-40-17s. Have no rubbing. Close to quad. Nice setup. Go for it, its great! I hope to soon do LCAs and a 275 in the rear. I also want the height adjustable ones. I have ford springs and my rear is alittle lower than my front. I also run lakewoods in the rear and am happy with em. Good Luck,
