17x8 and 17x10.5?

a friend of mine is giving me 2 17x8 bullit wheels and was wondering if it would look goofy i had 17x10.5 on the back and 17x8 on the front instead of the 17x9s has anyone ever done this?

i have, looks fine. looks like it should be that way from ford. granted, 17x9's will look a little better, but free is free! and those 17x8's are free right?

yea hes giving them to me cause a guy at work gave them to him and there just taking up space he said, he also giving me 2 of the 98 gt wheels (polished 10 spokes)

Bad pics but oh well. Pics are before lowering springs. I have since lowered it and put 315 Goodyears on it. The Nittos DR's are for sale. Only 1000 miles on them.

I'm running Goodyear F1 GS-D3s all around - stock 17x8 bullitts with 245/45/17s up front and 10.5 deep dish bullitts with 315/35/17s in the rear. Lots of pics on my site http://www.gotstang.com/profile.php?skidad62&page=1
