my stock pump is on borrowed time and im replacing the fuel tank also so i figured i should buy a new pump, is this too much for a currently stock 5.0? will i need a new fuel pressure regulator also? i plan on modding the engine further down the road.
A 190 pump will not be too much for a stocker. You will not need to get a new fuel pressure regulator right now either. When you start modding the motor then you will be one step ahead by having the pump in.
Also it is a good idea to replace the filler neck grommet on the tank as well.
thanks sleeper i already have that and a new filler neck in the shopping cart i've got the pump, the tank, the filler pipe the grommet, the filter and the fuel line disconnect tools anything else i'm missing?
Sounds like you got it covered. I just got done with my fuel tank today to put in a new fuel sending unit.
