1964 1/2 U code vs early 1965 T code, what's interchangeable?

Hood?
I've seen 1964 1/2 hoods listed different than a 1965, mine's and early 65, will that interchange (before I find out the hard way?)

Rear axle?
I believe the universals are supposed to be different from the 170 to the 200 c.i. . If so will it bolt up as a replacement with a special U-joint?

Front end parts, steering box, fenders?

All glass, doors?

I believe the only problem you will have will be the hood and the grille shell. The 64-1/2 hood's edge hung down and the grille shell was beveled to clear that edge.

One thing you should know, before you spend large coin on hood and extensions, is some 64's may have had the later type. You should consult a gold card judge as part of your planning. Meanwhile, what's the date code on the hood you have?

Will look for date code tomorrow, had no time to spend on these today.
Just a quick look at both today though along with my neighbor and we both agreed they look identical on the front end slope.
