Beautiful example of the first classic Mustang Convertible. Local car that was sold new in DC area and has been nicely restored to correct original specs. Car was built April 13th 1964 making it fairly early for Mustang production. Body is very straight, rust free with correct Cascade Green Metallic paint that looks very good. All rubber trim was replaced and chrome, glass etc. are also very nice. Interior has been totally redone and is also correct white standard interior with optional original seats belts. All gauges, lights and signals function properly along with new power top that works great. Equipped with the original 260 cubic inch engine with 2bbl carb and factory 3 speed manual trans makes the car pretty unique. Does have dual exhaust now along with new fuel tank and too many other things to list. Underneath is very rust free with pictures available upon request. Car runs and drives real nice and just had new rear wheel cylinders replaced. Factory wheels are excellent along with spinner hub caps and tires are very good. Both engine and trunk compartments are nicely detailed and has spare, jack and new soft top boot. Overall a wonderful early Mustang Convertible that will give its next proud owner many more years of fun cruising and showing.
