Are 1965 1966 NOS bumper guards supposed to have a Ford part number stamped on the back? I just received some (front and back) that I bought on Ebay that are supposed to be NOS, but there is no part number on them. They came in Ford boxes that had been opened.
The chrome looks pretty good. Better than the "Made In Taiwan" ones I have on my car right now, but there is a little variation in the welds and the brackets between the right and left side. They look like they were made by different manufacturers. I kind of feel like I got ripped off. Is there any way to tell if they are real Ford parts?
