back spacing is an important issue here. as i recall a 15x7 with 3.75"- 4" back spacing fits fine. with the 15x8 you need to go to 4"-4 1/2" back spacing. there is a wheel fitment chart you can search for.
Thank you so much. So I need to look for Magnum front wheels 15x7 5x4.5 and 3.75-4" backspace and rear 15x8 5x4.5 with 4-4.5 backspace. Does the size of the tire affect the fitment. Thanks.
yes tire size does affect fitment. go too wide and they rub, same with too tall. personally i prefer the same size tire and wheel on all four corners as it simplifies things, including what to use as a spare. i prefer full size spares also. so my advice would be to use a 15x7 wheel with a 215/6515 tire all around. its nice fit for the early cars
