Nice straight example of the classic Mustang GT Fastback. True A code car that has the factory GT option package. We have decoded the data plate and everything is how it should be except original 4 speed transmission. Original 289 Engine w/ 4bbl carb, but original 4 speed trans was upgraded to a T-5 5 Speed transmission. Comes with original Rally Pac gauges that has already been installed. Car was sold new in the Phoenix car district and spent most of its life out there so is exceptionally dry and rust free. Nice straight, rust free body with older paint that is still quite presentable. Color is the correct factory springtime yellow. Interior is the original black crinkle vinyl pony interior and shows well considering its age. Some upgrades on the car include T5 5 speed overdrive trans conversion, larger front sway bar, rear bar added, Total control products (TCP) sub-frame connector systems, TCP shock tower brace system, MSD electronic ignition system, and disc brakes were upgraded to power brakes. Some recent repairs include a complete new custom exhaust system (5/21/15), new tires (6/11/15), and was recently in for big service (6/9/15) all of the brakes were gone through from front to back, new front left/right brake calipers, new front brake pads, repacked front wheel bearings, bled the brakes, replaced both rear wheel cylinders, replaced both rear drums, bled system, cleaned and adjusted brakes. Water pump and thermostat were also replaced and coolant was flushed. Right side upper ball joint and upper control arm were also replaced. Car runs and drives fantastic with nice short shift gear box and excellent brakes and suspension. Underneath the car it is dry and rust free. Pictures of the underside available upon request. Was a factory A/C car and we have all of the original components that go to the A/C system. A/C system repair can be negotiated into the deal. Overall a very nice driver that has been well cared for.
