I am replacing my power steering pump and have a question about the pulley. I picked up a pulley puller and have the pulley removed. My question is how is the correct way to reinstall the pulley on the new pump. I've read where you can use the puller to reinstall. The problem is that my puller does not seem to be able to do this. There is no nut in the kit.
Now my new pump had a bolt, washer, and nut installed where the pulley goes. Can I use this to "press" the pulley back on? It seems like it would work but I do not want to mess up anything internally on the new pump.
