1967 mustang wheel question

hey all just need some advise on a 67 mustang it has disc brakes on the front and am wanting to put wheels off of a 1998 mustang on it what size spacer do i need to put them on have heard allway from none to 2" and really
am not sure just need some help

Generally, it's a 1" spacer. The OEM early Mustang wheels most always had a 4.75" backspace; the New Edge's and up, 5.72".
