Little Help.

Is this a strut rod for a 1967 or 68?
I know that 68 will work in a 67 if you have the lower control arm and strut rod. Is that what I have here? Is it’s1967 and am I fine.

It is in a 1967 that I am replacing the front suspension on. I ordered and have a 1967 kit. I think this a 68- strut rod. Am I wrong? If it is will it work on my new 67 lower control arm? What are my options here and will it work?
Thanks,

67 strut rods will not work on a 68 LCA, so I can't imagine a 68 strut rod working on a 67. 68 seems to be a dumb year when it comes to suspension work.
Although the UCA's are the same.

67 it is straight the 68 are bent

67 is an odd year they use 66 style strut arms but with the 67/68 length LCA. In 68 they went with the bent style and that is how it remained till 73 I think. A 67 LCA does not have the correct holes for a 68 strut and the 68 do not have the correct holes for the 67. The stop was also moved from the strut to the LCA in 68

Thanks. I just got my years confused. So this is a 67 and I have nothing to worry about.. For some reason I thought that 67 was bent and 68 was strait. That’s what scared my when I looked at mine. I figured that it was swapped somewhere along it life. I guess I am good to go.

Thanks.
