1968- alternative to using 14 bolt exhaust heads.

Hello all

Is there an alternative to using the 14 bolt exhaust heads in a 68? I have a completely rebuilt 390 that I want to install in the car and it has 8 bolt exhaust heads and I am trying to find a way to use them without purchasing another set and going through the expense of having them rebuilt.

Drill and tap the other holes ,get a gasket and a centerpunch that fits in the hole on the gasket and mark them . I have done it before ,just dont drill to deep ,mark your drill bit

Thank you horse sense. This would obviously need to be done on a drill press in order to drill a straight hole right? Thanks for your reply.

Yes a drill press would be best
