Hi Guys. It's been awhile but I've been at it again with my 1969 convertible. I'm trying to keep it stock looking although I have upgraded the topend. I have a question regarding stock setups. On some cars I see a little shelf/shield attached to apron located between the regulator and solenoid. What is it called? What is it's purpose? And where do I find one?

Yep..... That's it! Thank you for the link. I see it is a "splash shield", but from what? Water from road?

Its described as a "rain gutter" so I guess its to protect the regulator box if you open your hood in the rain? Either way, mystery solved. Thank you!
