hey its been a few years since i posted here, but i was reading the sticky about i6 to v8, mine is a 71 so im afraid im going to have to ask a question probably asked a few times a month. im getting ready to put my 302 into my 71 and need to know what all i need to change mount wise, some people say i may need to torch off my frame mounts and track down v8 ones. from what i understand the i6 specific stuff became less popular and i should have everything i need from the factory. if someone could point me in the right direction on what i need to look for mount wise to get this 302 in my factory 6 car it would be very helpful. im also in need of the parts to do it, i do not have any mounts for the motor side unless the 6 stuff will work but im thinking not, i just need to know what exactly to buy and where to get it, or even if someone has what i need im willing to cut a check, i miss driving my stang... it needs to get done!
