Hey guys I have a quick question...I have an 83 mustang GT stock alternator W/ external regulator I had 2 smaller wires in the alternator harness one is stator and one is field the field i believe is the one with the black cap? that ran to my choke on the old 5.0 car now has a chokeless carb and has been switched to a 351W can i just get rid of that wire then? and the red capped one is the stator right? Please help guys i really wanna hear this beast run
