Fox 1983 T-top Coupe - $1000 - New Buffalo Butt Beer

^^^ This doesn't support the no coupes reply, just some more info on SVO.

As far as I know, none of the higher end cars were coupes. Only hatchbacks, i.e. No GT coupes, etc. It really is funny to me, the coupes were not very desirable back in the 80's. I'd go to the local dealership to drool on the foxes back then, and they might have had 1 in 20 cars on the lot notchbacks. Nobody wanted them. Seriously. People wanted GT cars or LX hatchbacks...Now, it's the other way around. Coupes are more desirable. Funny how that happened.

Ok, starting to think about a set of new wheels for Robby.

This first set will be four lug.

So, what I'm thinking is either a set of TRX replicas (I have always liked these), or the '93 cobra R wheels.

Throw some opinions at me.

Lug pattern doesn't mean anything to me. SSC replicas - Chrome if in the car ends up Red or White. Polished silver if it ends up in the blues or darker tones.

Black on black has always been lame IMO, with very few exceptions.

17s are as tall as I've ever been willing to go on a Fox again, with very few exceptions.

I HATE seeing 18 and 19 inch wheels on a fox and I'm so over black wheels. Mine are getting sold or at the very least plasti dipped. I regret buying repro wheels in a big way.

I like black wheels with the right color of car, so you two can just shut up.....:D

Really, I do. I don't so much like the matte finish, a semi-gloss would be best to me. Glossy wouldn't be terrible.

Well it's like this. It's like buying shoes. What I would wear may not be what you want. Noobzster wants to stand out with chrome or polished wheels? Well maybe you're more of a loafer kind of guy. Me? I like flip flops so something light and airy is the flavor of the day. Black, tan, white covered in rhinestones... who knows.

Wanna buy some black dd fr500s?

Flat black paint on the car maybe? O_o That's one of the previously mentioned exceptions.

Nah, thanks though man. The FR500's are five lug, right? Eventually the blue car will be five lug, I just have no clue to when.

I was really thinking about the TRX or the Cobra R's. These won't be the permanent wheels, yet will probably be on Robby for a couple years.
