What engine? Carb?
I think 84 had a non computer type ignition system. Duraspark?

its a 302 holly 4 barrel.carb,600 and something

that's not obd anything, is there a aluminum box with two plugs that go into the harness? is this an original V8 car?
what problems are you encountering?

No obd1 port on the 4bbl cars. You'll have to troubleshoot the old fashioned way

We have an old snapon oscilloscope at the shop (actually have 2) got to use that thing on a old corvette, what a time warp!

I actually installed an electric fuel pump but not sure where the wire from the new relay goes into the ignition. don't know what wire on the ignition to connect it to. any help would be appreciated.
